Synopsis "Management of head injury due to RTA and PLID patients (in English)"

This book is based on two researched articles. The first article is" Pattern of injury in RTA patients in neurosurgery ward of Rangpur Medical college Hospital". The result of the researched article shows that screening of the head injury patients is essential to reduce the burden of minor head injury patients in the neurosurgery ward so that neurosurgeon can give more efforts to manage moderate to severe head injury patients for better outcome. The second article is" Association of scoliosis with lumber disc herniation" in patient with low back pain in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. The results of the researched article shows that there is significant association between the side of scoliosis and the side of lumbar disc herniation and also we can assess the presence of lumber disc herniation by seeing the scoliotic change on plain x-ray of lumbosacral spine A/P view. So the patient having relevant history, clinical findings of PLID with scoliotic change on X-ray of lumbosacral spine A/P view we can diagnose PLID patients without costly MRI investigation until decision for operative treatment because maximum PLID patients can be managed conservatively.
