Kim Gatewood was inspired to write "Mama's Flying Boots" to honor her mother, who demonstrated extraordinary tenacity and persistence, after being left partially disabled in a near fatal car accident. As the youngest of seven children, Kim never forgot how her mother made every day an adventure. Kim is a mother and grandmother of four. She has a B.S. in Chemistry and Electrical Engineering and is a retired military veteran. She serves as the Executive Pastor and Chief of Staff at Bethesda Fellowship Ministries. Kim is also the the author of "Mama's Hats."
