I had a rewarding job as a maintenance man. I could fix anything --- except for my life. I had a wife, a modest home, and a loyal dog. It was tough to fit in. It seemed like danger followed me wherever I went. I was like a cat with nine lives. Bad things happened to me, and near me. I wasn't safe to be around. Eventually the tables turned for the worse. Thank the Lord I was far away.
