Lucas is blind in his left eye due to a retinal detachment and can only see out of his right eye, which has had many surgeries. Despite these obstacles, Lucas remains positive, resilient, and passionate about go-karts, tractors, farming and penguins. His journey has inspired his family to write a children's book, attend conferences, set up support groups, and advocate for better eye checks for newborns. Lucas's kind and caring nature and determination are a testament to his strength. He has a bright future ahead, and his family is grateful for the support they have received.
