The collaborative writing of poetry is not a new concept and neither is the collaborative writing of Haiku. In fact Japanese poets used to encourage this practice by traveling the countryside in order to add to each other's work. They would even host poetry parties in which entire volumes of linked haiku were created and later published. Each haiku having the ability to stand alone and yet "Linked" together to form a much broader expression or connection.
