Brad, Michele, Angel, Jenny, Bitch and Sandy come to the rescue of a downed jetliner after joining together in a group marriage believing his wife Vicki was dead. What they thought was a safe haven turned out to be a death trap were several of their party died or were wounded. His daughter Cindi loses her husband and follows Brad, her father as they seek a safe place to live after leaving the hellhole that Los Angeles had became after the nuclear bomb hit it. Only intending to lead his small party to safety, Brad found himself leading a big group. With the help of Bitch and others they turn them into a fighting unit in order to survive crossing the rest of the way into Arizona. Without wanting to, find himself joining with others as the number of his wives keeps growing. Death stalks them at every turn as the USA falls apart and becomes several small countries.
