During this climb, he runs headfirst into almost all kinds of obstacles known in the life of a day-working West Texas beauty. This story is written in and around Broomee, Texas, a once-thriving ranching community just south of Sterling City on the way to San Angelo. The town Bromee has been recreated to help out with the story.
