The gentle risings from the soil marks her coming, I see her touch bring life to the sleeping seeds. Niall Hunter, a young man working in a failing antiques shop falls for Megan, who he first sees out one autumn morning walking her dog. And so begins an exchange of poems on an old park bench, where she goes to escape her trapped existence. An incident in his past has left Niall scarred and at a cross roads in his life, meeting Megan changes everything and reminds him of the person he can be. However things at the Antiques shop are not what they seem and Gunthur, the owner, keeps a secret which will have inconceivable consequences for those involved. Josh, a young boy at a nearby school who befriends Niall falls foul of a school bully and so begins a chain of events with far-reaching consequences. These stories entwine to tell an inspirational tale of love and hope, of chances and dreams, of courage and above all of the lessons we learn in time. Lessons in Time is a debut novel set in 21st Century England by first time author Jeremy R Allison.
