Caitlin is a 17-yr. old girl living with a brother and sister and their army major single mom, Tela, who came to the U.S. from the harsh mountains of Pakistan as a child. Tela demands high academic achievement and grueling physical training in martial arts from her family. Caitlin still harbors a consuming anger toward Tela for shipping her back to that primitive world of an ancestral home for a whole year, after Caitlin made her horrendous mistake.
