Es richtet sich an Kurden und auch an Deutsche, denen mit den wichtigsten Wortern des Grundwortschatzes u. a. aus den Bereichen Kultur, Politik, Wirtschaft, Religion und Geschichte das Lernen beider Sprachen erleichtert werden soll. An den passenden Stellen sind auch einige idiomatische und umgangssprachliche Redewendungen erganzt. Das Worterbuch umfasst rund 30.000 Stichworter, die sowohl in arabisch-kurdischer als auch in lateinisch-kurdischer Transkription angegeben sind.
