Synopsis "Kufika (in English)"
Kufika means to arrive in Swahili. Kufika magazine was established to inculcate a positive perspective about African American people and our heritage.Over the past centuries, Negroes, Colored people, Afro-Americans, African Americans, Blacks, Brown, Latinos, Asiatics, and People of Color have not always been given the proper recognition they deserved for their accomplishments. Kufika symbolizes our Black selves, Black pride, self-respect, and dignity. We strive towards retaining what we struggled for since the days of our ancestors. We continue our efforts to make a positive impact in todays' society and for future generations. Let it be known "We are strong, we are proud, we are intelligent, we are beautiful, and we are to be recognized!"
