Funkübertragungen haben seit den Anfängen im späten neunzehnten und Anfang des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts einen enormen Aufschwung genommen und das Leben der Nutzer in allen Teilen der Welt unmittelbar beeinflusst. Um den steigenden Anforderungen gerecht zu werden, wurden neue Breitbandübertragungstechnologien vorgestellt, die das Funkspektrum effektiv nutzen. In dieser Forschungsarbeit werden Beamforming und Zwei-Wege-Relaising untersucht, um die beiden Probleme der Überlastung des Spektrums und der Unterauslastung des Spektrums zu lindern. Diese Probleme können durch die Implementierung von kognitiven Underlay-Funknetzen behoben werden. Ihre Zuverlässigkeit, Kapazität oder Leistung und Abdeckung hängen jedoch von bidirektionalen oder abgekürzten Primär-zu-Sekundär- oder abgekürzten P2S- und Sekundär-zu-Primär- oder abgekürzten S2P-Interferenzeinschränkungen ab.
