Synopsis "Kanaanaische Und Aramaische Inschriften: Band 1 (in German)"

Die 4. Auflage der Kanaanaischen und aramaischen Inschriften (KAI) ist seit langem vergriffen. Die Textsammlung wird aber in allen einschlagigen Handbuchern als Referenzwerk verwendet. Seit der letzten Revision der KAI in den Jahren 1966/69 sind zudem wichtige neue Texte gefunden und veroffentlicht worden und bereits bekannte Texte konnten in Lesung und Deutung weiter verbessert werden. Deshalb erfolgte eine Neubearbeitung des 1. Bandes, erweitert um rund 40 Texte. Eine revidierte Fassung des 3. Bandes, einschliesslich einer knappen Bibliographie zu allen Texten des 1. Bandes, soll moglichst rasch folgen. Eine Neubearbeitung des 2. Bandes ist zur Zeit nicht geplant.
