Japan - A Record in Colour', originally published in 1901, is Mortimer Menpes and his daughter Dorothy Menpes's first collaboration. Featuring 100 colour prints of Mortimer Menpes's beautiful watercolour paintings with Dorothy's transcribed anecdotes it provides an illustrated account of their travels around Japan.
