Synopsis "Ixora coccinea L.: Extrakte und hydroalkoholische Fraktionen (in German)"

In dieser Studie wurden die antioxidativen, entzündungshemmenden und antiarthritischen Eigenschaften von hydroalkoholischen Extrakten und Fraktionen von Ixora coccinea L. untersucht. Die hydroalkoholischen Extrakte wurden durch Mazeration der Blüten von Ixora coccinea gewonnen, die Fraktionen durch Flüssig/Flüssig-Trennung. Die chemische Charakterisierung erfolgte durch Hochleistungsflüssigkeitschromatographie in Verbindung mit Massenspektrometrie (HPLC/MS). Es wurden Tests zur Bewertung der antioxidativen, entzündungshemmenden und antiarthritischen Aktivität durchgeführt. Die wirksame Konzentration (EC 50) wurde quantifiziert, um das Potenzial der bewerteten chemischen und biologischen Aktivitäten zu klassifizieren. Mittels HPLC/MS wurde Catechin als Hauptbestandteil des alkoholischen Extrakts quantifiziert (59,50%). Bei der antioxidativen Prüfung lagen alle EC50-Werte zwischen 6,45 und 87,15 ppm, wodurch alle beobachteten Konzentrationen als sehr aktiv eingestuft wurden. Beim entzündungshemmenden Test reichte die EC50 von 32,27 bis 198,06 ppm. Beim Anti-Arthritis-Test reichte die EC50 von 10,76 bis 66,02 ppm.
