Synopsis "It's Not All Been Peaches and Cream: The Al Candler Story (in English)"

"Al was a John Wayne type of guy. Love to him meant providing a roof over your head, food to eat, and clothes to wear. He was passionate about business, but he was also passionate about his daughters, grandsons, and dogs. They brought a smile to his face." -David Howe Al Candler started off in a poor family, growing up during the Depression with a father who drank too much. From these humble roots he made himself into a man of business, with only his own experience and common sense as his education. From golf caddy, breaking horses, and selling chickens, to learning the meat business from the ground floor and starting his own butcher shop, buying into Hickory Farms franchises, starting his own shopping plaza, and many other business ventures, what Al Candler lacked in knowledge he made up for in boundless energy that he put into every enterprise. His adventures included a plane crash in the ocean, living in the Virgin Islands, and an impromptu commercial flight with his dog Mack sitting in the seat beside him. Determined to be a good father to his three daughters, he worked hard to be the opposite of his own father. Nearly paralyzed with fear at first, he slowly made his way, always having a deep love for these precious daughters. By the time his grandsons came along, he was truly in his element. Family Buddy cares about family values: Some language may concern families of faith.
