Sunny is a native of Inkster, MI born and raised. Her life has been plagued with unfortunate events from her childhood. These events have shaped Sunny into a young, free spirited woman, carrying an emotional load that sometimes gets in the way of making wise decisions. Sunny is in love with two men. Ezra, her childhood sweetheart is 5'10'' 190 lbs of dark chocolate bad boy goodness. Ezra, a no nonsense, drug dealing savage, with a soft spot for Sunny. He will do anything for Sunny, except let her go. If he can't have Sunny, no one can. Ahmaad is 6'2'' 220lbs Nubian God. He is the most attractive man Sunny has ever laid eyes on. He works as a county clerk for the 34th district court, Downtown Detroit. They met in class at Wayne State University where he is majoring in criminal justice. Ahmaad has everything Ezra doesn't. A job, education, car, apartment and a 6-inch tongue. Who will Sunny choose? Will her decision cause her to pay the ultimate price? It ain't always Sunny, on the Sunny side....
