Synopsis "Innocence Assailed: : The Mapping of Winding Valley Part 1 (in English)"

Synopsis: A fantasy set on the island that holds the Winding Valley. Ignacio, a stranger, is the first to venture beyond his town, to explore the Winding River upstream. He encounters the slapstick folk of Hungdeep, none more slapstick that the town's unusual Mayor. Unbeknownst to all, the history unveiled by Ignacio, forms the backdrop of a classic battle of good vs evil when the dark lord breaks his chains of ten thousand year captivity in the lava caves beneath the earth and chooses the island as the cauldron where this fight will take place. Here he builds an army of misshapen creatures to do his will, stealing life force from the flora of the island to give them 'life'. But, he has yet to realise that Ignacio will stumble upon the golden medallion that holds the secret of one of The Three, a giant battle eagle as ancient as time who will play a key role in the outcome of events. About the Author: Marcel Wagner was born in South Africa in 1945 where the stories of the people, animals, topography, fauna and flora inspired him to start telling stories. Time to write was never a luxury to be had, it had to wait until later life brought with it the time to cogitate, collect and collate and all the bits of paper eventually became a novel. He lives in Henley-On-Thames where he is finishing the rest of this epic series.
