Synopsis "Infliction (in English)"
The town of Newport Oregon was a picturesque community that thrived off of the ocean and had worked hard at ridding itself of one night from 1963. That was until the return of its most feared resident, James Windsor, brought it all back. As James tries to reestablish himself in a town that does not want him, the suspicious death of a local store owner brings him back into question as the killer the town tried to forget. As another accidental death occurs, James befriends a local woman that claims he is innocent and that the deaths have been caused by the Infliction, a creature born from an uncontrollable emotion of someone James is closest with. Determined to clear his name and destroy the monster that continues to haunt Newport, James must face those that took his life away, the parents of his victim. Unburying the darkest secrets of all, James finally realizes who created the Infliction and in the process, may have found the chance to reclaim something else thought to be gone forever-his innocence.
