After his wife's unfortunate passing, he takes stock of himself with a growing desire to learn what became of Sarah fifty years earlier. Learning her life has gone poorly as the botched abortion precludes her having a child she so badly wanted, Scott discovers his research may offer Sarah a solution when he is able to communicate with his younger self.
