Imagining the Bible - Mar-e Cohen Bible consists of Bible stories in their original text (the English Biblical text as it appears in the JPS 1917 Translation), illustrated with artwork by the great artists of history, including Rembrandt, Tissot, Hoet, Dore, and many others. It is a mosaic of story and image, old and new, a memory of the days of old. Its goal is to help children, adolescents and adults embrace the legacy of the Bible and appreciate it. Leviticus, also named "The Book of the Offerings", contains only a few stories. It includes the story of the tragic death of Nadab and Abihu and the story of The Blasphemer. Numbers includes the stories: The Spies, Korah's Rebellion, Water from the Rock, The Death of Miriam and Aaron, The Copper Serpent, Sihon and Og's War, Balak and Balaam, and The Daughters of Zelophehad. Deuteronomy includes the stories: Haazinu (The Song of Moses), Moses Blesses the Tribes, and ends with The Death of Moses.
