Um dessen Mechanismen zu identifizieren, greift sie auf Offentlichkeitstheorien von Carl Schmitt uber Elisabeth Noel-le-Neumann bis hin zu Chantal Mouffe zuruck. Auf dieser Grundlage reflektiert sie die Auswirkungen dieser sozial-diskursiven Praxis auf das offentliche Meinungsklima, den demokratischen Diskurs sowie die Verengung des Meinungskorridors.
