Dickens's novels were serialised initially in weekly or monthly magazines, then reprinted in standard book formats. Dickens is considered to be one of the greatest British writers. He was a social activist who wrote plays and novels during the Victorian period. His most famous novels include Tale of Two Cities, Oliver Twist, and David Copperfield.
Charles Dickens (1812-1870) nació en Portsmouth y era el primogénito varón de un funcionario de la Armada Real.
