On BB Boulevard, children are not afraid of thunderstorms. When thunderstorms roll into their community they know Judge Boom, the neighborhood bully monitor, is busy busting bullies and bad behaviors. Sometimes children put value on materialistic things and popularity, which can make other children feel inadequate for not having as much or being less popular. In House 423 lives May-Lin Snobberfin. May-Lin is a smart, popular girl who has many cool things but can use a lesson in what is truly valuable in friendship. May-Lin is less kind and picks on kids based on what they wear and tries to get closer to kids she thinks are popular. In a new twist, Judge Boom calls May-Lin to face her friends, the jury. She learns from each that there are nicer ways of saying things and that she is judging them without knowing them. May-Lin also she learns to care more about what makes her friends special and less about superficial things that should not matter. This is the fourth book in the BB Boulevard series.
