Synopsis "Hello, I'm Grampa (in English)"
United States Coast Guard Vietnam veteran, combines over sixty years of his memoirs with fiction to write this fun, humorous story which takes place in Wickford Rhode Island. Mark William, a widowed Rhode Islander, takes it upon himself to represent the Coast Guard in the annual parades of Wickford. After an accident, Mark, who has the beginnings of dementia, moves into Saint Elisabeth's assisted living home, where Mark befriends Don Nyington, and together they are forever plotting some childish joke that will soon be played on some poor soul. Most of this story is told in chapters that are true memories which Mark shares with his grandson Liam, although some have been embellished to make them more interesting.
