It can take a lifetime to master this form. I am discovering and trying to adapt to new information daily but know I will not master it in my lifetime. However, I am beguiled by it and strive to do my best. I hope this book will help captivate new readers who will immerse themselves into the charming, beautiful simplicity of this form. Haiku is not poetry; it is a way of life. It makes you appreciate the small things by more closely observing your surroundings and becoming more sensitive to your emotions.
