Yet in contrast, the author's sister, Elaine, had an ideal experience, leaving her body in the hospital and ascending fully awake as she was escorted by her spirit guide to the other side, where her friends gleefully awaited her arrival so the celebration could commence. The more typical return flights were experienced by her former husband, Marvin and her brother-in-law, Larry.
