Milton, Molly, Gretta, and Gregg are leaving the Farmer's Co-op with the newest addition to the family-a retired racing greyhound. In order to keep the adoption as a surprise for the twins, Milton and Molly had taken separate vehicles to the adoption day activity. As they prepare for their return to Baxter Farm, Gretta and the greyhound will ride with Pap in his pickup truck; Gregg will ride home with Grammie. The first lesson begins with Gretta asking, "How are we going to get this pup into the truck?" From that point on, school is in session. Join the family as life on the farm takes on an entirely new element--Oh the joys to be had on a staircase; four paws on wooden floors; nose trouble in the kitchen; table time manners; special bonds....and we haven't made it out to see the animals yet!
