Off the island of Enchantment, the leading gubernatorial candidate continues to tweet about "fake news" and spread slanderous remarks about dentists and reporters, including writers at The Westgate Weekly. A young reporter also finds himself attracted to the new female barista - a lovely Steampunk fan - who tests him in a cruel way. This mix of mystery, romance, and suspense concludes in tragedy for its characters. A modern satire, Great Lengths presents a fictional tale about how dangerous political rhetoric leads to deadly consequences.
