He had been there, he had helped defend their parents in a battle centuries ago. Along with his spouse, Ewa, they raised the two orphans in the aura of the Gateway. Now, as adults, Lady Myr, the Keeper of the Light, and her brother, Memsyth, the Keeper of the Dark, become aware of an underlying evil originating in the Highlands of Scotland. There is seemingly no end to the tactics sworn to destroy their village, after all, how can one fight something or someone you can't see? Lady Myr and Memsyth combine their worlds (as different as night and day) as they learn the history of Gnome Mountain, protect their present, and prepare to defend against an uncertain future. A way of life for hundreds of Wee People of the hangs in the balance.
