Synopsis "Gemeinschaftsstruktur und Regeneration von subalpinen Abies spectabilis (in German)"

Die Gemeinschaftsstruktur und Regeneration von Abies spectabilis (D.Don) Mirb wurde im Abies spectabilis-Wald zwischen Chandanbari und dem Lauribina-Gebiet (3100-4000 m) des Langtang-Nationalparks in Zentralnepal untersucht. Die Vegetationsproben wurden mit der Quadratmethode genommen, und die Probenquadrate wurden mit einer systematischen Zufallsstichprobenmethode lokalisiert. Insgesamt wurden 80 Quadrate beprobt. Abies spectabilis war die vorherrschende Baumart, und Rhododendron campanulatum war die vorherrschende Art. Die Artenvielfalt des Waldes war relativ gering, was auf anthropogene Faktoren wie Weidevieh, Brennholzsammeln und Holzeinschlag zurückzuführen sein könnte. Die Gesamtbaumdichte nahm mit zunehmender Höhe zwischen 3100 m und 3550 m ab, stieg aber von 3550 m in Richtung Baumgrenze (4000 m) an.
