The asteroid, Talus 3, has been hurtling through space for over two thousand years. After passing close to Earth, a disaster is barely averted. Now, as the massive rock continues towards Alpha Centauri, the eight million Korian's living in cities within the asteroid hope to find a habitable planet to call their own.Standing in their way is a fleet of seven hundred enemy ships, mirroring the path of Talus 3. The Sholites are relentless, continuing the war with the Korians that has lasted since both their home worlds were destroyed in a solar system many light years away.In Talus 3, Ryder Gunn, grandson of the infamous Natalie Lowe, tries to live a simpler life, focused on the search for a new home. However, as a high-ranking official in a powerful family, he is drawn into the politics of Talus 3 and the ongoing war. No one, including himself, knows if he has the skills and fortitude to be the leader the people expect. He walks a fine line, focusing on the exploration of space while desperately trying to keep one step ahead of the relentless Sholites.
