For a story teller, half of the journey is the collecting of stories from others. As someone delving into the paranormal, its inevitable that things that are not explainable are to be encountered. This is the file where the oddest of tales has landed, spanning decades of collecting the tales from the experiencers themselves. Not all stories are created alike, however. These tales are the ones in which the teller had credibility, either through long association or critical examination of evidence. So what does all of that mean? It means it is the Freak Files: The Unexplained Tales taken from real life, told by the experiencer to the author. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent and the not-so-innocent. Exact locations are also not given, another effort to protect the identity of the the victims in many of these tales. After all, we wouldn't want anything to happen again, now would we?
