Ashley Finley was in the fiery furnace of affliction. The contented world she once knew was now filled with sorrow and poverty. Dr. Gregg Jefferson, the interim principal at Brookland High School, was sent to transform the urban school's image and improve test scores. Never lacking for monetary things, it was hard for him to relate to the issues found at Brookland. Dr. Jefferson's brusque exterior camouflaged hidden scars, thus suffocating his true self. Labeled the Terminator by the students, Gregg had no problem terminating anyone who wouldn't abide by the rules, including Thomas Finley, Ashley's brother. Joining forces in an effort to save Thomas from heading down a road of no-return, Ashely and Gregg's differences blended together, creating a rainbow of hope and possibly love.
