Synopsis "Fizxing the Machine (in English)"

What is in control of Henri Cloud? Reality is a pretty straight forward thing. An obvious thing. Something that you can take for granted. Right? It's - it's just common sense! Striven Henri Cloud had buckets of common sense. He was drowning in the stuff. Henri believed - empirically - he was a, Right Thinking Guy. He was metric as a column of sums; as empirical as calculus; as scientific as the Hadron Collider. Henri Cloud was no schmuck! Facing reality - that was the thing. Fixzing the Machine is a story about Striven Henri Cloud and how he deals with the reality of his world. Reality is - well, Henri is a marine engineer. Another reality is - climate change. Climate change was in control of the seas. You didn't have to tell Henri this. He'd researched the world on his iPad. But what was in control of Henri Cloud? The marine engineer maintained the sea barriers that protected the mythical city of Marna. And Henri is troubled by what he knows. He knows the gates won't keep out the sea. They are broken! Faced with this dilemma, Henri is a driven man. He must do the right thing. Henri acts! He goes straight to a female, mud-wrestling, night club. Well, the reality is, Henri goes first to the Council Chamber. Henri knows for a certain the city elders will listen to him. They are comprised of Marna's most successful persons! In this matter, at least, Henri Cloud is a believer. He believes in the city Elders. 'You don't get to be that wealthy and not know a thing or two!' claims Henri. But Henri will always act! And he sends one of the mud wrestlers out to sea ... What does control Henri? Striven Henri needs to be admired by these Giants! He craves their attention. He has to be admired; he needs to be loved. Urgently! God those mud wrestlers! Do you feel a little shaky? Henri vibrated. All down his wobbly body. But these are merely personal matters. They won't affect Henri's sense of proportions. Climate change is undeniable. Right? What starts as one man's quest to do the right thing, ends up with him discovering his own, slightly different reality. What is important to the average Joe or Joanna? Where does reality start or end? For Striven Henri Cloud, it ended with him tearing after a witch with a twin loader bobcat, and earning the respect of the Giants. But did he ever get round to Fizxing the Machine? And why is the Statue of Liberty on a mountain?
