Synopsis "Feather Men (in English)"
He wasn't supposed to meet her, and he wasn't supposed to forget her, once he had. Trace Whitefeather wanted escape from the People, if only to have a life that wasn't the shadow of his great father, Dutchester Whitefeather. As the last remaining Feather Men, the last of their kind, Dutch and Trace had an uneasy truce for the time being. Trace could leave the ways of his People when he settled down. For now, he was allowed a temporary escape--perhaps to tame down his willful ways. Trace had other plans. He had to leave before he suffocated, trapped under his father's wing.
