It is the year 2276, the family has big plans: travel to the Mars colony for advanced training in living in space, and then continue on to the new colony on Europa, a moon of Jupiter, to become part of the first wave of humans colonizing new planets. However, traveling and living in space is not always easy or safe, as the family soon finds out. When they finally arrive on Mars, where they are reunited with some good friends, they quickly learn the skills needed to live on an airless planet. As the family works to help develop and improve the Mars colony, they often find themselves facing dangerous situations. A survival training trip turns into a real-life exercise in survival, an explosion at the site of an underground volcano has serious consequences, and an experiment in comet retrieval goes awry and causes massive power outages which threatens the lives of the family and many other colonists. When the family prepares to leave Mars for Europa, they face their biggest challenge of all when the Space Defense Force calls on them to help with a serious mission. With each passing day, the family must rely on their wits and one another in order to survive The Mars Colony Adventure.
