Synopsis "Fairytale Trilogy Ody in Russian (in Russian)"

Synopsis of the trilogy ODY by Jorri Duursma The trilogy was written by a girl, starting at the age of 13, in a period of 6 years. With fantasy and wisdom, Ody, after experiencing a kind of Odyssey, becomes to his surprise the King of Existence (first book, called Ody), upon which he has to solve many problems in the world of four existences (above-existence, below-existence, existence and non-existence) (second book, called King Ody), and later solving the problems of existence by building a solve-tower, (third book, called Ody's Daughter), helped by the elf Toodle and troubled by his so-called daughter Espra. This complete fairy-tale trilogy, full of symbolism and humor - in total 63 chapters - can be read to children one chapter every evening, thus stimulating their imagination and helping the parents to better understand their world of fantasy. The experiences with the Dutch edition are that children understand immediately the symbolisms and humor. Of the first book exists a Korean, Catalan and Spanish edition, the Korean one was selected for a series of high well sold children books from different countries. These three editions were directly translated from the Dutch edition, of which exist also a read version for blind children. As script it would be ready for a film or a TV series. At present a complete English and Russian professional translation is available. Illustrations are from Cees Deen and the author herself. All copyrights for the texts and illustrations are with the author. Comments: - Renske Bakker, a girl of 9 years old wrote: [translated] ODY, I was allowed by Grandmother to read it. I finished it in one day, so nice it was. If it depended on me, I would call it right away the best, best children book of the whole world. - Jos Vandeloo, Belgian author and critic: [translated] During the unprecedented hot summer of this year I received your book "Ody's Daughter," the third part of your trilogy about Ody. It was a refreshing experience. My opinion about your work is as ever unchanged. I remain finding it very nice and special. Well written and poetically expressed. On the other side, I still regret that these books have not been published by a well-established publisher of good youth literature. The level you reached is rare en the work deserves a larger and better treats. - Vandeloo's remarque when he had read the manuscript of the first book was "The most original fairy tale since Andersen."
