He found that the law would never be able to prove anything against the mob. Rick was a Former marine with a best friend that was a Chiricahua Apache and a marine sniper with 62 confirmed kills. Asa's only question when he found out what happened to Rick was, "What do you want me to do to them?" Asa brought Rick to his home in Arizona, where he owned and operated a shooting range. There, as Rick recuperated Asa taught him the skills of a sniper. Leaving Rick alive was the biggest mistake the Sandretto family ever made.
