Die Welt lebt heute im Zeitalter der schnellen und effizienten Entscheidungsfindung und verlangt von den Unternehmen ein kompetentes strategisches Management, das durch die richtige Verwaltung von Informationen erreicht werden kann, die durch Informationsmanagement und Informationssysteme erworben werden können. Zu diesem Zweck wurde eine bibliografische Studie über Informationsmanagement und Datenbanken anhand von Büchern, Artikeln und Websites durchgeführt. Es wurde der Bedarf an einer Software für den Lagerbereich eines Unternehmens festgestellt, die auf die Computerisierung der Datenarchivierung abzielt. Der Einsatz dieses Tools wird zur Kontrolle des Materialausgangs aus dem Lager des Unternehmens beitragen. Zu diesem Zweck wurde das SICSM - Sistema de Informação para Controle de Saída de Material para um almoxarifado (Informationssystem zur Kontrolle des Materialabflusses aus den Lagern) mit Hilfe der Microsoft-Software MS Access 2013 erstellt, in dem der Benutzer des Systems, in diesem Fall der Lagerverwalter, alle Daten der Mitarbeiter und des Materials erfasst, die gesamte Abflusskontrolle durchführt und Berichte erstellt. Die Software Lucidchart wurde auch für die Erstellung von Diagrammen verwendet, die bei der Systemanalyse hilfreich waren.
