Dabei stützt er sich auf eine reichhaltige Sammlung von Schriften und Bildern der damaligen Zeit. Neben der Entstehung und Bedeutung von Stra ennamen werden unter anderem einschneidende Kirchenstreitigkeiten sowie viele örtliche Vereine, wie z.B. der Eppendorfer Bürgerverein thematisiert. Zahlreiche Fotografien und Skizzen von unterschiedlichen Gebäuden und Bewohnern sowie eine Karte aus dem Jahr 1774 stellen die interessante Geschichte Eppendorfs sehr illustrativ und lebendig dar.
