Synopsis "Encounters from out of nowhere (in English)"
Suffering from depression due to a crumbled relationship with her ship- captain father, a prominent surgeon sails on her father's cargo ship hoping it will lead to a successful reconciliation. The ship is to deliver robotic surgical robots for a new hospital in Saudi Arabia. En route, a romance develops between her and the ship's third officer. Within two days of the ship's arrival, pirates capture the ship and she and the third officer are wounded while battling the invaders. She, the third officer and her father, also injured in the battle, are taken to a navy carrier for treatment. While the three are recuperating, a spaceship lands on the carrier. On board the spacecraft is a seriously ill extraterrestrial that requires immediate surgery. International Planetary Quarantine regulations prevent the surgeon from coming in direct contact with ETs. The surgeon uses one of the robotic surgery units to operate on the ET. The story ends with the shocking revelation why the ETs were visiting Earth.
