Rori Cahill is shot by a Russian assassin at The Black Sow bar. She returns the favor, but lay in a pool of blood. Surviving is part of her makeup, but a gunshot wound isn't her only problem. With little thought about why they chose him or what it meant, Baldwin is happy to move to the top of the food chain. He suspects nothing until the final push to the election. When he discovers Willowdale and Churchill's plot to kill him, Baldwin enlists the help of a new friend, Austin Garcia, Willowdale's former campaign manager and confidante.
