Der im Beruf erfolgreiche Notar Dr. Hahnenberg hält sein Versprechen. Der Vormund erzieht über drei Jahrzehnte hinweg sein Mündel August Sonntag.... Wilhelm Raabe, pseudonym: Jakob Corvinus (1831-1910) war ein deutscher Schriftsteller. Er war ein Vertreter des poetischen Realismus, bekannt für seine gesellschaftskritischen Erzählungen und Romane.
