Synopsis "Dragon Diplomacy: An Unusual Path to Dragon-Taming (in English)"
Loriel is an inquisitive 12-year-old fairy living in the enchanted forest kingdom of Silverbell Wood. The peace and tranquility of Silverbell are disrupted by Gadrak, a troubled dragon who comes to live in the middle of the fairy domain. The dragon's incessant raids on the bordering human kingdom of Elderland cause the wrath of its people, who are determined to invade Silverbell - a prospect that might end in disaster, with the protective enchantments broken and the delicate balance of the fairy forest disrupted. The fairy king is certain that the enchantments of Silverbell will keep any humans out, but other fairies, Loriel and her father among them, see the potential danger. Loriel decides to take matters into her own hands. In the company of several good friends and Prince Darin of Elderland, whom she meets along her journey, she sets out to solve the dragon problem in an unexpected way: she has talked to Gadrak, knows he is bored and lonely, and is determined to find a lady companion to keep him in check. Thus begins a quest full of adventure, magic and humor, bringing together the unlikeliest of companions.
