A FIGHT FOR DIGNITY AND JUSTICE! Meet Maurice Edwards, an idealistic African-American professional male who has gone through many obstacles in life. A personnel analyst at the Barnes Steel Mill, he is passed over for promotion despite proving time and time again he is worthy for advancement. A turning point occurs in his life when he comes face to face with a hotheaded deserter and police brutality, but that is the least of his worries-he and his lovely wife Donna face constant danger because they are being stalked by the deserter himself! Many challenges face Maurice as he is not only seeking justice for being brutalized by the police and at the same time, protecting both he and Donna from the crazed stalker, but is also putting everything he stands for to the test when he is offered the position of a lifetime-provided, of course, he does not testify at a murder trial of an elderly man who as it turns out, was forced to make a confession. In addition, he also finds himself helping a beloved foreman-who was fired by a ruthless Board of Directors-get his job back. The stakes are indeed high, as Maurice and Donna, along with their attorney and best friend Alex Stallings, race against time to not only get the elderly suspect off the hook, but salvage Maurice's reputation and dignity-and stop the young stalker from harming Maurice and Donna!
