Detective Salvador Diaz is a dedicated Yuma, Arizona detective. His aggressive tactics at pursuing criminals dominated his life enough he neglected his family. Divorce hit him hard as he realized he suddenly was alone. To disguise his loneliness, he dedicates his life to chasing and arresting criminals 24/7. He is saddled with a new partner, Detective Maria Mendoza. Her inept, over sensitive ways cause him a lot of anxiety. Only when he is wounded in a shooting does he realize he needs to reassess his life. While lying in the hospital he thinks about ways to get a new partner. Before easing back on his work hours he needs to find and arrest the person or persons trying to kill him.
