Synopsis "Dead Man's Reef (in English)"

It all seemed so simple. Lou Malloy had gotten a letter from his father telling him that he was getting married. Lou wished his father well. Then Lou got notice that a dead body had been found in Key West and his father's Department of Homeland Security identification information was on the body. The next day Lou piled Hilary Kelly along with Savage, their two hundred pound dog that was part Russian wolfhound and part Siberian wolf, into Hilary's truck with their special travel trailer that also housed the two Kawasaki H2S Ninja motorbikes. Eventually Lou finds his father, but gets warped up in a caper involving drugs, money and weapons. Along the way his father disappears long with three very powerful suitcase nuclear bombs. In the course of trying to unravel the tangled mess, Lou and Hilary are pursued by Chechnyan criminals looking to get their hands on those bombs and money that they believe Lou took from a CIA sting operation in Mexico. The head of the clandestine section of the CIA has issued a warrant for Lou and Hilary's capture, dead or alive. His name is Alexander Nomad and he wants to take over control of all security functions in the United States, both domestic and international and put the current court system under the United Nations and ruled by the World Court in Hague, Netherlands. Lou, now hiding in St. Kitts because of the warrant out on his and Hilary's life, decides to go to Italy to look for his father's old girlfriend that he was going to marry to learn if she knows anything. To accomplish this Lou rents a commercial jet for his use since he can no longer use any of the assets of the Department of Homeland Security. When he meets the pilots, Lou learns that they are more than just fly boys, but they are connected to Max Reynolds. Believing that, Lou feels a bit better. Believing that the girlfriend is living on Sicily with her brother, who also happens to head one of the major criminal enterprises on the island, Lou secures a place to stay and presents himself as just a tourist. In the course of finally making it to Sicily Lou and Hilary are attacked several times by operatives hired by what he believes are the Chechnyan Mob seeking the location of the bombs and Lou's father, not necessarily in that order. While In Sicily Lou learns that he may have a sister by reason of that fact that ten years ago his father may have fathered a child was now living with the girl friend in Sicily. To start the ball rolling Lou meets with the brother of the girl friend who tells Lou that he was looking for his sister as well. All this seemed strange to Lou and Hilary, but they didn't think the brother was a threat. He later learns that he is their biggest problem since he wants the girl too since she has information that could hurt his operation and he was to put a stop to it that only way he knows and that is to kill her. Lou now is racing against time. He wants to find his father's girlfriend as soon as he can. Lou has a ransom on his head of ten million dollars and he is running out of time. He needs help and he calls on the only source he can, Blue and Crusher. Sending the plane to pick up the two pals, Crusher brings his wife, Bunny too. After his team arrives, things really heat up. A female terrorist posing as Lou's long lost sister shows up and Lou finds her to be a phony. However, before Lou can get any information out of her she kills herself. He decides to tail one of the crime bosses and he learns that he leads him to the former wife of the man responsible for the collapse of the Mexican sting operation years ago who was supposed to be dead. As Lou and Hilary and Lou's team try to unravel the mess, one of the pilots approaches Lou and Hilary and tells them that they are back in the fold at Homeland except that they can return to the Unites States just yet. None of this is making any sense to Hilary. Learning the bombs are in the Bahamas, the team returns to more trouble.
