Synopsis "Danse Macabre (in English)"
In 1888, the name of Jack the Ripper is revered by another killer on the streets of London. A killer who ponders as he works to hide the identity of his latest victim. Fast forward to modern day when a woman stands in front of a motel room mirror, musing on who she is and who she is allowed to be. Further forward still and a family sit down to dinner when the news reports the end of the world as they know it. And all the while, the children of Mother Nature test and try those mortals who are oblivious to the impact (however small) they have on the world around them. A collection of eight short stories taken from the author's personal projects and university assignments. Although, there is no intentional theme, there are elements of sci-fi, fantasy and horror within the stories and most of them are set against a post-apocalyptic backdrop.
