Seven members of the Crucial Times Photography Collective were asked to submit ten photos each capturing the mood and energy of their favorite live musicians. The evocative images they've presented here range from the screaming desperation of Pervert to the romantic charm of Jonathan Richman. This book is a roller-coaster ride of human expression that will intrigue and compel the reader to seek out these performers. The wide range of photographic equipment the collective members utilized reflected the diversity of their artistic interpretation and subjects, ranging from the latest high resolution digital technology to vintage film cameras with grainy expired film. This is the first volume in a series of themed collaborative publications by the collective.
